Weight: 44 pounds
More Info: I was picked up in Charlotte.
I have been at the shelter since May 18, 2026.

Freya is the perfect size (45lb) staffy mixed cutie girl!
She had the best outting at Steps for Shelter Pets where she met so many people & was around many other dogs. She did great in this public setting.
-rides well in cars and jumps right in without any issue!
-shes a "holder" so shes more than likely potty trained.
-walks extremely well on leash, pulls a little when excited, but very manageable.
-dog neutral and friendly, met male & female dogs and did well on leash and in a controlled environment with them. (Slow & controlled intros always encouraged).
-loves walks and super treat motivated.
-takes treats gently.
-wagged her tail and simply looked at other dogs who would bark at or towards here. Easy to redirect away from the dogs barking at her.
-never growled or barked at anyone or any dog.
-never tried to get into my plate of food, just sat calmly & eventually laid down.
-knows sit, can catch treats, and waits patiently for her nails to be trimmed.
-good with women, men, and kids (not sure about cats).
-not afraid of loud noises (fire trucks or ambulances) or fast movements (tents/umbrellas moving in the wind).
-great attention towards her handler and checks in on walks.
-never showed any type of reactivity to other dogs or people, except by pulling towards other dogs playing because she wanted to play so badly.
