Meet happy, playful Pistachio! He is an exuberant, joyful pup who has never met a stranger. He loves toys, treats, going for walks, and spending time with his people. He has played well with dogs who match his energy level.
He lives with cats in his foster home. Following separation and careful, gradual introductions, he integrated well with them and respects boundaries.
This fun-loving guy is also making progress with his manners. He is doing a basic obedience class with his foster mom to work on containing his joy. He will do almost anything for cheese, which helps keep training fun. He is crate trained and willingly goes into his crate for a treat. He stays in his crate during a full workday and sleeps in it at night without whining or barking.
With his happy personality and eagerness to learn, he is looking for a family who will enjoy his playful spirit and continue helping him build his skills.
