Meet Your New Best Friend: Velcro Pup
This sweet boy is the total package: bright, affectionate, eager to learn, and absolutely ready to bond with his forever family.
Smart Learner- He picks up cues quickly and is incredibly food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding. He was doing wonderfully with house training — no accidents after day two — and he’s already learning polite behaviors like “wait” and offering sits and downs when he wants something.
Affectionate Companion- He’s a classic velcro dog who loves being near his people. He’ll happily follow you from room to room and, once he’s settled, he melts into belly rubs and snuggles on the couch. He truly wants to be someone’s shadow and heart.
Crate-Comfortable- He’s comfortable going into a crate and settles well when he can still see his person. He’s working on confidence when alone, so a family willing to continue gentle separation training will help him thrive.
Playful & Energetic- Most of his mouthiness comes from excitement and boredom — totally normal for a young pup who had limited activity due to neuter recovery and being under the weather. He responds best when given a short break behind a gate or door to reset. Toys help too, and he enjoys any toy or chew you offer.
Curious Explorer- He loves picking up sticks outside and sometimes tries to snack on them. With supervision and redirection, he’s improving, but he’ll do best in a home that can keep an eye on him outdoors.
Gentle With Belongings- He’s been non-destructive with bedding and toys — a huge plus for a young dog. He enjoys chewing appropriate items and is easy to please with enrichment.
Leash-Ready- He’s not the biggest fan of the harness yet, but he walks nicely on a leash and is learning that gear means adventure.
A patient, loving home that enjoys training, wants a loyal shadow, and can help him continue building confidence. In return, he’ll give you devotion, laughter, and endless cuddles.
