Meet Samson, a big, beautiful German Shepherd with an equally big personality.
Samson is a silly, goofy, playful guy who has quickly won us over with his happy personality and lovable antics. He has been friendly and social with everyone he’s met so far and genuinely seems to enjoy being part of whatever is going on around him.
Underneath all that goofiness is a pretty smart boy! Samson is currently being fostered by professional dog trainers and is working on his obedience skills. He’s learning heel, sit, place, doorway boundaries, and more, and he has been adapting to training beautifully. He is potty trained and crate trained.
Samson has completed successful parallel walks with other dogs and has shown no leash reactivity toward passing dogs. As we continue getting to know him, we’ll keep learning more about what type of canine companions may be the best fit for him.
One of the biggest perks of adopting Samson? His training comes with him! His adopters will receive free training lessons to learn everything Samson has been working on and help make the transition into his forever home as smooth and successful as possible.
Samson really is the whole package: handsome, friendly, trainable, housebroken, crate trained, and delightfully goofy. He’s looking for someone ready to give a very good, and occasionally very silly, German Shepherd the home he deserves.
