Amos was found as a stray. He was emaciated and had a respiratory infection that took two round of antibiotics to address. He has been through a lot but remains such a sweet, affectionate pup. He is gaining weight and learning new skills through positive reinforcement. He is such a joy to have around the house. Reason you will love Amos:
Sweet, goofy and lovable <3
Beautiful fawn color with super-soft fur – you won’t want to stop petting him
Looks like a puppy but is a mature 6!
Affectionate, curls right up in your lap
Crate trained, VERY quite in crate
House trained, no accidents
Great car rider, calmly watches the world go by
Home-body, very calm inside (after being a stray, he feels safest at home).
Entertains himself while you are doing other things around the house.
Knows “Sit” and catches treats in the air
Food motivated and willing to learn
Needs some TLC to continue gaining weight
Likes to communicate when he notices unknown things outside (a skill that helped him stay safe as a stray). His foster mom is helping him learn to relax now that he is safe.
