Weight: 48 pounds
More Info: I was picked up in Huntersville.
I have been at the shelter since Aug 01, 2026.

Cupid is a 1 year old, gorgeous german Shepard lab mix- even more stunning in person (if you can believe it!) She is silly, sweet and brave girl who came to us as a stray who has done a 180 after coming out of her shell with the help of our resident dogs.
Cupid needs a patient home that will love, encourage and support her while she learns more about the world and builds trust.
There is not an aggressive bone in her body. She is very gentle in everything she does!
Cupid is very intelligent and can read dog body language really well. Able to take correction. She has not been tested around kids or cats but her demeanor leads us to believe she will be both kid & cat friendly!
The ideal home has another friendly dog who can show cupid the ropes and be the friend she wants and needs!
Here are her credentials for being awesome:
-Dog friendly! (slow intros always recommended)
-Treat motivated aka easy to train
-Able to be redirected easily
- walks very well on the leash
-Can be left out overnight
-Gaining confidence + curious
-Hired as toy control & takes job seriously
Still working on:
-potty training
-being comfortable in the car
-puppy like demeanor but is still relatively calm (thinks things like leashes are toys when they are not but listens when she needs to drop it).
-house trained (getting better everyday but not quite there)
