Rita Rhonda is a sweet, shy, quiet girl. She can seem a bit reserved at first, and is still learning to trust people. Even something as simple as walking through doorways be scary for her. But at the shelter, we’ve seen her blossom—she’s grown more comfortable and willing to trust humans. Once she feels safe with you, she’ll cuddle right up on your lap and lean in for affection.
She walks beautifully on the leash, staying super close and checking in often. Shes also has great leash interactions with other dogs, slow introductions always recommended.
Rita Rhonda would thrive in a patient, loving home where she can settle in at her own pace and continue learning that the world is safe place.
-Walks well on the leash - stays super close + checks in often
-Positive body language through the fence with other dogs - slow + proper intros always recommended
-Likes to gently jump up for love, pets + gentle kisses
-Seems very in tune with + responsive to her handler, so should be easier to train
-Cuddle queen who can’t get close enough to her person
-Likes treats + takes them gently
-Loves everyone she meets
-Enjoys the sights + sounds of the walking trails
-Sweetest smile + demeanor
-Happy as a clam to be outside + with people
-Recent mama who deserves some pampering of her own
