More Info: I was picked up in Charlotte.
I have been at the shelter since Sep 20, 2026.
I am available for adoption.

Let's talk about Molly....
A Daschund mix, 32 sleek rock hard pounds. A pretty fawn base coat with
misting of black flecks on her body, a long pointed up fawn tail with a black
top. She has pretty black lined eyes and a ready smile with a tongue that
flickers. Some white on her nose with some black dots gives her some
mystery. She is 13" at shoulder, 19" from neck to where her tail starts. Then add her tail. Happily wagging most of the time.
She is a very cute package. Every bet of her 32# is represented effectively.
3 of her paws have white boots.
Personality wise - she is a 9. To be her human, you should like to
be the center of attention in her world. She will be there to reinforce
how much she likes you repeatedly. Follow you around, lay quietly by
your side, lay quietly close when you are just hanging out. She is
fascinated by tv. Scared of vacuums, but just cowers and doesn't bark.
Molly knows how to deal with furniture.....no destruction exhibited. She
can easily hop onto the couch by herself. Crates ok. Rides in cars
just fine.
Slow intros to other dogs. Seems wary sometimes in the beginning.
If you have more than 1 dog, depending on who loves you the most
(her or your other pet), she may try to claim you. To divert the tension,
I crated them both for a bit, then had them both go outside as a
diversion.
She loves running and zooming in the yard. Looking and she is a big
sniffer. Has done well with where to potty. Responds to some basic
voice commands.
She is very human loving, happy to give you a big hug, or throw a
lick your way. She also likes to receive comforting, reassuring pets from
you.
This dog is a winner. She is a combination of all low to high energy
dog. Chills when inside, makes use of her time outside.
For walks, I would suggest a harness. She pulls a bit with a leash.
Harness would be easier on her.
I think she is great - keep in mind these comments are from my first
7 hours with her. She has so much promise and will make someone
very happy.

adoption) up to 10 days to see if she is a fit. This girl deserves a loving
human, so lets get it right.
