Meet King!
At 15 years young, King came to the shelter as an owner surrender under heartbreaking circumstances. Despite the unexpected life change, this sweet senior remains wonderfully happy, endlessly hopeful, and is soaking up every moment in his foster home while waiting for his true forever family.
Don’t let his age fool you—King still gets fun spurts of energy! He loves a good toy to keep himself entertained, but once playtime is over, you’ll find him happily snoozing away. On walks, he’s a total gentleman with fantastic leash manners, always eager to politely greet any doggy friends that pass by.
King’s gentle, easygoing nature makes him a dream housemate:
Pets: Lives harmoniously with 6 cats and 2 small dogs, doing great with all of them!
Manners: Fully potty and house trained, and completely non-destructive when left out alone.
Personality: Extremely sweet, affectionate, and happiest when soaking up all the love you have to give.
King is the ultimate adorable low-rider who simply wants to live out his golden days in a home filled with love, treats, and cozy beds. Could your lap be his next favorite spot?
