Having never lived indoors before, many everyday experiences are still unfamiliar to her, and she can feel uncomfortable in new environments. She may take some time to warm up, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, she has the potential to blossom into a devoted companion.
Lady is learning to walk on a leash for the first time and is still building confidence with the process. Because of this, a home with a securely fenced yard may make her transition easier as she adjusts to indoor living and learns new routines. She may enjoy having a confident, social dog in the home to help show her the ropes and provide reassurance.
Lady is looking for a home with teens 14+ who can respect her need for space as she settles in. She is not suited for a home with cats or other small pets. For the right adopter, helping Lady gain confidence and discover all the comforts of family life will be an incredibly rewarding experience.
