Meet Papaya, a sweet pup with a love for walks, treats, and spending time with his favorite people! This adorable guy is always ready to head out for an adventure and enjoys exploring the world one step at a time. While loud noises can sometimes startle him, Papaya recovers quickly and is ready to get back to enjoying his day.
Papaya is a treat enthusiast who loves a little extra motivation and enjoys building relationships with the people around him. He has been through quite a bit, but his resilience and happy spirit continue to shine. Papaya came to Humane Colorado with a swollen elbow that required medical care. Thanks to treatment, the swelling has resolved, and he is now comfortably walking on his leg with normal range of motion. He still has some muscle loss in that leg, which may improve over time or may remain long term. His veterinary team will continue to monitor his progress, and future care needs are currently unknown.
