This beautiful flaxen-maned sorrel mare has a heart of gold and absolutely adores people. She's the kind of horse who forms connections quickly, soaking up attention and happily standing for grooming sessions that can last as long as you're willing to brush. Mango is also very social with other horses and enjoys being part of a herd.
Under saddle, Mango rides at a walk, trot, and lope and would love a home where she can continue to enjoy light riding and quality time with her people. Her sweet personality, gentle nature, and affectionate attitude have made her a favorite around the shelter-she truly steals hearts wherever she goes.
Mango is looking for a home that can support a few ongoing care needs. She currently wears shoes, receives daily Firocoxib, and is best suited for light work rather than strenuous activities such as gymkhanas or other high-impact performance events. She will also need dental care every six months for approximately the next two years as we continue getting her teeth back on track.
