Meet Duchess, a sweet 6-year-old female dog looking for a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide the medical care and support she needs. Duchess has bilateral entropion, a condition in which both eyelids roll inward, causing the eyelashes to rub against the surface of her eyes. This can lead to discomfort, irritation, and damage to the eyes if left untreated. She needs follow-up veterinary care to determine the most appropriate treatment plan, which may include corrective surgery. Duchess would thrive in a stable, loving home where she can receive the veterinary care she needs and recover comfortably. With proper treatment and support, she has the opportunity to enjoy a happy, comfortable life. Please help us spread the word by sharing Duchess's story. The more people who see her, the better her chances of finding the rescue, foster, or forever family she deserves. If you're interested in helping Duchess, please email dasadopt@dallas.gov with your contact information, and the team will call you back to discuss next steps. Every share can make a difference. Thank you for helping Duchess find the care and love she needs.
