Meet Max!
Max is an adorable eight-month-old pup who is still finding his footing after a big transition. When I first met him shortly after his arrival, he seemed frightened and a little confused. But after just consistent days of visits, volunteers are already seeing his sweet personality start to shine. Max now greets with a happy wagging tail, growing confidence, and gentle treat-taking.
Max can be a little hesitant in new situations—he wasn’t initially sure about walking past the other dogs’ kennels—but once we made it to the yard, he transformed into a happy, playful pup! He zoomed around with enthusiasm, ran toward me, and even broke into adorable little playful pivots. He also seemed comfortable interacting with other dogs through the gate and clearly loved having the opportunity to stretch his legs, explore, and have some fun.
Max would likely thrive with an active family who can give him plenty of exercise, patience, and encouragement as he adjusts to another big change in his life. With a little time and consistency, I think this young guy has so much potential to blossom into a confident, joyful companion. Come meet Max today!
