More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jun 27, 2026.
Smooch is a gentle, easygoing boy who may take a little time to warm up but shows a sweet and affectionate side once he feels comfortable. He enjoys spending time with people, seeks out pets, and has a calm, friendly demeanor. Smooch is smart and appears to know several commands like sit, down, and shake, and he takes treats gently. He loves getting out for walks or runs and settles into a nice pace after his initial excitement. In playgroup, he has shown a preference for a calmer environment and may appreciate respectful space and low key canine company. Smooch has been observed to ride well in the car, remain calm around children and other dogs, and even ignore cats. Overall, he is a well mannered, affectionate companion who seems to enjoy both activity and relaxing time with his people.
Due to capacity at the shelter, this pet is currently at risk for euthanasia. We are urgently seeking placement through adoption, foster, or approved rescue.
