Meet Henry
If you’re looking for a sweet, well-mannered, cuddly companion who is ready to be your best friend, Henry is your guy!

Henry is a true gem of a pup. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves nothing more than spending time with his people. He’s also wonderfully well-behaved and has already mastered all the important house-dog skills. He is potty trained, non-destructive, and trustworthy to have free in the house while you’re away — what a dream!

This smart boy knows his commands, including sit, shake, down, and stay, and he takes treats very politely. He walks beautifully on leash, too, making him an excellent companion for walks, hikes, or even a running buddy if you’re looking for someone to keep you moving. He would also be perfectly content curling up with you on the couch to binge watch the latest tv series.

Henry also enjoys having canine friends! He did very well in playgroup and generally does well with other dogs. As always, proper introductions are recommended. He may also be cat-friendly with proper introductions and a little time to decompress in his new home.

And when it’s time to have some fun? Fetch is Henry’s specialty! Give this boy a tennis ball and he is ready to play. He’s a super smart pup who loves to engage with his people and would thrive with a family that enjoys giving him both affection and activities.

DAS estimated Henry to be around 7 years old, but he is likely closer to 5 years old — the perfect age for a middle-aged gentleman who has left the puppy chaos behind but still has plenty of fun and adventure ahead of him.

Henry is the kind of dog who makes you wonder how he’s still waiting for his forever family. He’s sweet, smart, cuddly, well-mannered, playful, and ready to be someone’s loyal companion.
