Panama is a female cat in need of a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide continued medical care, support, and rehabilitation. She has splayed hind limbs consistent with swimmer syndrome, a congenital defect that affects the positioning and function of her legs. Panama will require prolonged physical therapy, along with hobbling, splints, and/or braces to help correct the limb positioning and improve her mobility.

Panama would benefit from a stable, supportive environment where she can receive the ongoing physical therapy and veterinary care needed to give her the best chance at improving her mobility and quality of life.
