Maeve's #A129339 striking blue eyes may be the first thing you notice, but her sweet, gentle personality is what you’ll remember. Her journey has been filled with recovery from fur loss, pressure sores and malnutrition but she's taken it all in stride and is ready to find a loving forever home!

At 4 years old and around 40 pounds, she’s the perfect size for just about any adventure. During her time out of the shelter, she is content to stay close to her people, whether that means exploring a new place, relaxing on a patio, or simply soaking up some affection.

Maeve walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, and is dog friendly. She prefers calm, gentle interactions over rough play and can be a little shy at first, but she warms up nicely for pets and cuddles. She has also handled baths and nail trims with impressive patience and doesn't show any signs of food aggression.

If you’re looking for an easygoing companion who enjoys being by your side, Maeve may be the lady for you! She has all the makings of a wonderful best friend and is ready for someone to give her the chance she deserves.
