Meet Dawny, a social girl who seems to enjoy the company of people and other dogs! From our volunteer observations, she tends to have a laid-back play style and can be a bit nervous in new situations, so she may need some time to warm up and build confidence. While she's generally steerable and people-oriented, she can be assertive with some larger female dogs, so a meet-and-greet would be helpful to find her best match. Contact us about Dawny today!
Dawny is currently at risk for euthanasia due to DAS being overcapacity in our dog population. Dawny is beginning to show signs of kennel stress. We feel they would benefit from being placed into a home environment with an adopter, foster, or rescue partner. Please email dasadopt@dallas.gov if interested fostering or adopting.
