Lasie is an 8-year-old, 78-lb sweetheart who is on a healthy weight-loss journey and ready to find her forever home. She’s an easygoing, happy girl who believes life is best enjoyed at a relaxed pace.

Lasie is potty trained, non-destructive, and trustworthy when left out in the home, so there’s no need to crate her. She enjoys short, leisurely walks and is happiest when she can relax on the grass and simply take in everything around her. Because of her age, size and current fitness journey, she needs a home without stairs.

One of Lasie’s biggest strengths is how wonderfully social she is. She is good with other dogs, cats, and kids, making her a great fit for a family looking for a gentle, easygoing companion. She does need help getting into and out of a vehicle and really not a fan of lengthy trips.

Lasie isn’t looking for a busy lifestyle or endless adventures—she’s looking for someone who will appreciate her sweet, happy nature and enjoy the simple things with her: a little fresh air, a comfy spot to relax, and plenty of love.

If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion who is happy just being by your side, Lasie may be your girl.
