Meet Arwen! Arwen is a playful, high energy girl who is still building confidence with people. She can be shy at first, but she is never aggressive and becomes friendly once she gets to know you. She does well with other dogs, especially dogs who are comfortable with a very playful and sometimes pushy playmate. She is excellent on leash when walking by herself, though she needs some additional practice when walking alongside other dogs. She loves playing fetch and usually comes when called, especially when she thinks there is something fun in it for her!

Arwen is not currently considered cat ready. While she is not aggressive toward cats, she has a difficult time respecting their boundaries and can become snappy and barky after being corrected by a cat. For her safety and the safety of resident cats, she would do best in a home without cats or with an experienced adopter who understands high drive dogs and is prepared to continue working on appropriate introductions and boundaries.

Arwen is mostly house trained when given regular opportunities to go outside. She does especially well when her space is limited, with no accidents when contained to a single room, but she may have occasional accidents when given full access to the home. Contact us about Arwen today!
