To say Donovan is a delight, would be an understatement. This energetic, playful, attentive lad is friendly, motivated to learn, and bright. Donovan could be mistaken for a deer with his long tan legs and is crazy fast jaunting around the yard with his foster dogs! His endearing personality is eager to please, easy to redirect, good with children, other dogs and the resident cats. He would like to think he is a lapdog… and can curl himself into a section of the couch and nap! When asked to “Go to Bed” at night he will walk to his kennel! He knows to do his business outside and sleeps quietly in a crate at night. Since Donovan is a big lad, consistent reinforcement of good behaviors would polish off his easygoing personality. Donovan is guaranteed to steal your heart. He is a fast learner and can’t wait to be your best friend! Donovan is estimated to be 1 year old and 51 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
