Hello, my future family. My name is Kenny. I don’t know exactly what my forever family will look like yet, but I’m hoping they’re out there looking for a boy just like me. I’m a Hound/Retriever mix with the sweetest soulful eyes and a beautiful, soft, shiny coat. My foster family says there’s something special about the way I look at them, and I have a feeling my eyes might tell you everything you need to know about my heart. I’m a happy boy with that wonderful puppy energy. I love to play with my toys, learn new things, and enjoy a good treat, but I also know how to settle down and enjoy the quieter moments. Give me a belly rub, and I’ll be perfectly content just being close to you. I’m a gentle soul, too. I’m quiet, I give the sweetest little kisses, and I really enjoy being with my people. I’m smart and a quick learner, and I’m eager to keep learning as I grow into the wonderful dog I know I can be. I get along well with other dogs, cats, and kids, and I would love nothing more than to become an important part of my family’s everyday life. I want to go along on adventures, play when it’s time to play, relax when it’s time to relax, and simply be by your side through it all. I have so much love to give, and I’m ready to find the people who will give me a lifetime of love in return. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, happy boy to share your life with, maybe you’ve just found me. I’ll be waiting. Kenny is estimated to be 5.5 months old and 26 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
