I am a neutered male, brown and black Labrador Retriever.
Age: I am a puppy
More Info: I am available for adoption now!
Leopold, or Leo, affectionately called at our house is the leader of the pack! He’s the adventurous one and always the first out of the pen when the door is open. He’s ready for the day, his people and always looking to you for what you want to do (this is good because the first signs for training is the “watch me”). Leo loves to play with toys! From squeaky to plush or anything in between, he loves them! He’s learning how to play fetch and tug-o-war so those are his current favorites. Leo also loves to be loved on, cuddled and pet. He will also sometimes (not always) talk to you when you talk to him it’s fun when he gives you a little sassy opinion. Leo loves other dogs. He lives with his 3 siblings, 1 other foster dog & a giant resident dog - all whom he does amazing with. He plays so well and is very sociable. He is great with everyone he’s met so far, including kids. He’s so handsome and he’s going to be a good looking dog. Come meet him and see for yourself! Leopold is estimated to be 3 months old and 9 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, and have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. We are also holding the following upcoming adoption events! Please note: All dogs/puppies will not be at every event, and some may find their home prior to the event. If you are interested in a specific animal, please check our Facebook page for confirmed attendance the morning of the event: https://www.facebook.com/safehandsrescue/ You do not need to have a Facebook account to check the Safe Hands Facebook page for attendance. We hope to see you at an upcoming Meet & Greet! Saturday, October 24, 11:00 am-1:00 pm, Bachman’s, 6010 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55419 https://www.facebook.com/events/1049659854613977 Saturday, October 31, 10:30 am-12:30 pm, Park Tavern, 3401 Louisiana Ave S, St Louis Park, MN 55426 https://www.facebook.com/events/2012549670134635
