We made the mistake of storing a bag of his treats on top of the cage, and the next morning he had pulled part of the bag in his cage and chewed a hole. He looked like a really happy guy who was full of his favorite treat (mealworms!). " Estimated birth date: 2/1/25 Personality: Cuddly, Friendly toward humans, Lazy, Quiet, Readily allows you to pick it up, Smart, Sweet. Favorite treats: Mealworms Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food Favorite toys and activities: Chewing on anything he can, burrowing in his fleece huts Potty trained: Litter box trained This animals daily routine: Marshmallow is most active in the evening and at night. BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Marshmallow can be adopted as a solo rat due to being uncomfortable with other male rats. Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: He has met cats through the cage bars and is indifferent. He is indifferent to dog barking. Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? No Health concerns: None Behavioral concerns: Marshmallow is a Trust Training Graduate! He used to be really shy and nervous around people, but now he readily allows you to pick him up and is very happy to accept treats. Transferred from TWAR Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at the Petsmart - 1640 New Brighton Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55413 for meet & greets, & adoptions. Fee: Marshmallow has an adoption fee of $15 due to being a senior. We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask. Marshmallow's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored.
