Our adoption process can be found on our website here: www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/process ________________________________________________________________________________ Estimated birth date: 1/1/24 Personality: Chatty, Cuddly, Curious, Friendly toward humans, Funny, Hesitant, Nervous. Merlin came into MNPPR super quite and scared of people. He now greats you with lots of wheeking, begging for treats, & every once in a while tiny popcorn leaps! Favorite treats: Merlin loves his Vitamin C cookies and has taken quite a liking to strawberries. Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Orchard Grass, Vitamin C Tablets Favorite toys and activities: Couch snuggles & pulling all the hay out of the box to make a mess. Potty trained: Does not use a litter box but only potties in cage This animals daily routine: Merlin is super flexible but does try to convince you he needs a treat every time you crinkle a bag or walk into the room. He current receives his fresh foods in the morning and his vitamin C treats in the evening when his foster feeds her other animals. BFF (Does this animal have or need a friend of the same species in their home?): Merlin has recently lost his cage mate. He will need a buddy in his forever home. Other species this pet has been exposed to and reaction: Merlin's foster has both dogs and cats who he is inquisitive about and shows no fear towards. Has this animal been exposed to children? What was their reaction? Merlin has done well with respectful kids as young as 1. Health concerns: None Behavioral concerns: None Other notes: Merlin & his late buddy Archimedes came to MNPPR when their previous owner became afraid their dogs would harm them. Due to our rescue being foster-based, not all foster homes are located in Saint Paul, MN. This animal's foster parent prefers to meet at either PetSmart location in Rochester, MN - 3845 Marketplace Dr NW, Rochester, MN 55901 & 4603 Maine Ave SE #109, Rochester, MN 55904 for meet & greets, & adoptions. Fee: Merlin has an adoption fee of $35 We absolutely DO NOT SHIP ANIMALS! Please do not ask. Merlin's care while in rescue has not yet been sponsored.
