COME AND MEET JADE AT PET EVOLUTION ON GRAND SUNDAY 12-30-2:30. COME FOR GOOD FUN, GOOD CUDDLES AND MAYBE YOU WILL FIND YOUR NEXT BEST FRIEND. GOOD FUN, GOOD CUDDLES AND MAYBE YOU WILL FIND YOUR NEXT BEST FRIEND. Jade is a playful, outgoing pup who was surrendered along with his 2 siblings and a cousin. They were living in a remote rural area and the owner felt they would not be able to find them good homes, so they asked PUP to take them. The pups arrived well fed and the children in the family had done a good job of socializing them. Jade is outgoing and highly people oriented and is eager for his persons attention. We believe he is 7-8 weeks on 8-10-2026. We submitted a DNA sample on one pups from the litter and expect the results shortly, but for now we are guessing Jade will be mid-sized when full grown and suspect he is at least part Shepherd and Husky. Nearly all the dogs from the area have at least some Chihuahua and it is not uncommon for dogs to have 30 verified breeds in their DNA. We are guessing at his adult size and his adopter should be prepared to love him if he is smaller or larger than predicted. He is reliably using newspapers in the house but has not started going outside to potty. The early months are when puppy learns the social skills needed to be a skilled dog in dealing with other dogs and a good citizen in the human world. Adopters should be committed to getting puppy into lots of new and different human social situations, hearing vacuums, trucks, and rattling garbage cans, meeting people who are clapping, laughing, with hats, tools, bikes and skate boards. AND puppy needs many opportunities to meet and greet dogs of all shapes, sizes and dispositions. Just sharing a home with another dog is not as much doggie socializing as puppy needs. If good canine social skills are not learned and maintained during these early months, it will be very difficult to ever master them. Puppy play dates, trips to the pet store, puppy socialization classes and later, obedience classes are particularly important. If all this doggie time and involvement seems like a good idea, you are up for a puppy! As always, a tired dog is a good dog. Puppy has been vet checked, is vaccinated, and de-wormed. He will need two additional puppy vaccinations plus rabies at the adopters expense. We do place puppies outside the metro area if a firm plan for the alter surgery is in place; we do not ship. His required alter surgery is covered by the adoption fee if it is done by 6 months at the PUP clinic. We require that he be altered by 6 months. If you are at least 21 years old and everyone in your household is on board with adopting a puppy, CALL 651-645-4370 between 7:00 am and 9:30 pm and we will return your call within 24 hours. We are pretty slow at responding to e-mail. Renters must provide proof that you are allowed to have a puppy. If you currently have a companion dog or cat please be prepared to provide a vet reference prior to adoption if requested.
