Moira is the kind of dog who will find the warmest spot in your home, curl up in it, and look at you like she has always belonged there — because as far as she's concerned, she has. She is gentle, deeply sweet, and once she decides you are her person, she will follow you from room to room with quiet, devoted loyalty. She will supervise you in the kitchen. She will watch television with you. She will steal your warm spot the moment you get up, and she will not apologize for it.
Getting to that point just takes a little patience. Moira is a dog who takes her time, and that is genuinely one of the best things about her. She needs a calm, peaceful home where she can decompress and open up at her own pace. The good news is that once she does, she is an absolute dream. She is house-trained, learns quickly, and once she understands what you need from her she follows through every single time. Her foster describes her as incredibly cuddly and genuinely easy — and they mean it.
One thing worth knowing: Moira does not love being startled. She is not a dog for a chaotic or unpredictable environment, and she would do best as the only pet in a quiet home with adults who will give her the space and steadiness she needs to fully trust.
