Meet Bree, a sweet kitten who may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once she does, her adorable personality begins to shine. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people and would appreciate a patient family who will let her settle in at her own pace. Bree may do best with older kids, 6+, who can help her continue building confidence through positive interactions and give her the time she needs to blossom.
Bree was diagnosed with cheyletiella, also known as “walking dandruff,” a treatable parasite that can affect animals and, in some cases, people. She has received treatment, and her adopter will need to continue her care with a second dose of selamectin around 8/5, which will be provided by Humane Colorado. The risk of infection is low but still present.
With a little patience and a loving home, Bree is ready to show off the sweet, special kitten she is. Once she feels comfortable, her new family will get to enjoy all the affection and personality she has been waiting to share.
