If Chewy were ice cream, he'd be something simple but classic, like Cookie Dough or vanilla with a caramel swirl. Not too plain and not too outrageous, he's a smooth, sweet guy with just the right amount of 'extra' to keep things entertaining. He can be a calm, friendly guy but he does get anxious and nervous at times so kids in his new home need to be at least ten years old. He's house-trained and although he's kennel-trained, he's non-destructive when free-roaming so you get the best of both worlds there! He has lived with other dogs but he'll need to meet all the dogs in your home prior to adoption. And because he can be very shy or nervous with new people, he needs to meet all members of the household as well. He's prone to chasing cats and he has a real beef with bicycles so no bikes, no cats, and definitely no cats riding bicycles, please! (But if you have pictures of the bike-riding cat, we'd love to see them!) To meet this handsome scoop, come to Lawrence Humane any afternoon during adoption hours.
