Bio: Enzo is a handsome, sensitive fella who is looking for a special family to help him gain confidence. He originally came to the shelter as a stray in 2023- he was just a puppy and was quickly adopted. He reportedly did well with cats in that home, and has now found himself back at PACC. Here’s what one volunteer said:
“Unfortunately, Enzo was adopted from the shelter as a puppy and not given proper guidance before being returned two years later, fearful and undersocialized. It takes him time to warm up to new people. I have been taking Enzo out regularly and working to build rapport with him. Recently I was finally able to pet him gently on his shoulder and head for the first time. While I wanted to yell this from the rooftops, that would have scared this softspoken gentle boy. He needs someone patient and willing to let him open up at his own pace.”
Enzo shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you can help Enzo to feel safe and brave in a new home, please ask to meet him today!!
