Bio: Allie is a resilient girl looking for a comfortable, loving home! Not long ago, she could hardly lift her head and struggled to walk due to the effects of untreated valley fever. Today, she’s a happy, sweet girl who enjoys slow walks and time outdoors! Allie spent quite a bit of time in a foster home- here’s what we learned:
“Allie is an enthusiastic and loving dog. I’m happy to report she has recuperated marvelously while with me, receiving regular medication and meals. She’d do best with a more active person who can take her on shorter walks. She has a lot of energy that she doesn’t know what to do with. She is eager to please so she’d be very receptive to training.”
Allie was mostly house trained in her foster home (who among us is perfect??), loved playing with her crinkly duck toy, and was described as a lovable, quiet girl. Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:
“Allie greeted me with wiggles and wags. She is really sweet. She was completely unbothered by the dogs barking at her during exit and reentry. I understand she is recovering from VF, and she walked pretty slowly (no pulling) and for a short distance. She was much more interested in sniffing everything than getting exercise.”
Allie shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’ll likely do best in a home without cats or young kiddos. Ask to meet sweet girl Allie today!!
