More Info: I have been at the shelter since Sep 18, 2025 and am ready to go home today!

Bio: When it comes to the fruit (yes, eggplant is a fruit!), eggplant is a bit of an acquired taste. When it comes to our Eggplant though, everyone loves her!! Eggplant is a volunteer and day trip favorite who also spent a bit of time in foster- here’s what we learned:
- She’s a quiet houseguest
- She is house trained and working on crate training
- She’s friendly, cuddly and smart
- She’s a puppy and has a goofy and mischievous side
“Eggplant is VERY affectionate and loves attention. She loves stuffed toys and will throw them up in the air and catch/chase them. She really likes balls. I gave her a soft rubber ball for inside the house and a chuck-it tennis like ball for outside. Often, she would grab the ball and run laps around the yard at full speed. She is very energetic after both meals and relaxes/sleeps a fair amount of the day. She is smart, playful, loving, mischievous, and independent and she learns things very quickly. Eggplant rapidly got used to me and showed every day and hour that she wants to be with her person. Eggplant loves to sleep during the day on anything soft and plush. She’d love a big fenced yard where she can go wander and explore, and she likes to lie down and sunbathe in the afternoons.”
