Bio: From her foster: Sonora was found as a stray and the family who found her decided to give her a foster break, but unfortunately, they cannot keep her. This is what her fosters have to say about her! "Just meeting Sonora for the first time touched our hearts. Despite being scared and traumatized, Sonora let us catch her and bring her to PACC. Her trust in us to help her was amazing. We travel a lot for work and couldn't foster her at the time we found her, but we kept thinking about her. We came to foster her as soon as we got the chance. In just 2 short weeks, we have learned even more how incredibly sweet, curious, and smart Sonora is. She is taking really well to training and making quick progress. Sonora is house trained and working on "sit and down stays", "watch me", "leave it", and more. She is nervous about being confined, so we are patiently working on crate training and she will appreciate help adjusting to being home alone. She loves to give kisses and get lots of belly rubs. Sonora doesn't pull on the leash or chase wildlife. She is really enjoying going for walks and hiking, and it's really important for her to have lots of exercise as she is a young dog with lots of energy. When it's time to calm down, Sonora has been the best office companion. She lays quietly on her bed and doesn't disturb zoom calls. She is your next best friend and will love you unconditionally. Cuddling is her favorite pastime. Sonora would be a great fit for someone looking for a hiking buddy and a telework companion! Please give this incredibly affectionate girl a chance to show you how amazing she is!"
