Bio: Colombia is a country known for its high quality coffee, emeralds, and vibrant culture. Our Colombia doesn’t drink coffee (caffeine is bad for doggos), but she sure is a vibrant girl and a hidden gem at the shelter!! This energetic, happy middle- aged gal is not cut out for shelter life and would love to head out PACC’s doors with you today!!
Colombia spent two weeks in a foster home where she was quiet and well- behaved when left home alone, housetrained, and quickly bonded to her foster person. Her foster described her as a sweet girl who thinks she’s a lap dog and loves cuddles.
Colombia also did great on a recent day trip:
“Colombia did so good today! Aside from the occasional pulling she does a really good job just walking beside you. She does really well in the car and likes to look out the window and was excited to hop back in the car. Her toys didn’t interest her too much but she loves treats. She especially liked her bacon ice cream with bacon bits on top.”
Colombia has been winning hearts since her arrival at the shelter, known for being very friendly, super tolerant of handling, and to warm up quickly to new human friends. She’s got plenty of energy and would make a great adventure buddy- she’ll even join you for a coffee date if she can have an alternative beverage!
When meeting other dogs in playgroup Colombia has been social and tolerant, preferring to spend her time getting human attention. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Please ask to meet this precious gem of a gal today!!
