Bio: Please meet Honey Bee! This sweet, spunky gal has it all, and anyone would be lucky to welcome her into their family. She recently came to PACC after being saved by a kind officer from the Oro Valley Police Department. Attempts to reunite her with her home near Honey Bee Canyon (the inspiration for her name!) were unsuccessful, so now she’s at the shelter doing her best to stay brave and hopeful.
It’s clear from her healthy condition and easygoing personality that Honey Bee was once loved. She’s so tolerant and well-mannered that she breezed through her admission process. Staff describe her as gentle, affectionate, calm, and incredibly sweet. She’s easy to leash, simple to walk, and receptive to handling and exams. Volunteers say there’s nothing not to love about her, and she’s even proven how exceptional she is by donating blood to help save another dog at PACC.
Honey Bee is a social butterfly with a heart-melting smile who loves companionship and attention. In playgroups, she’s a gentle girl who enjoys roaming the yard and is social and tolerant with other dogs. She also remains well-behaved and non-reactive when passing them on a leash. As always, we recommend a meet-and-greet with resident pups before heading home. With her sunny attitude and snuggly nature, Honey Bee is ready to fill her new family’s life with joy, love, and plenty of cuddle time. If you’re looking for an easy-peasy cuddle bug and a true best friend, this girl is for you.
