About: Meet Leo, an 8-year-old sweetheart who's ready for his second chance at a loving home! This well-behaved, fluffy guy is a true gem, already knowing commands like sit, shake, lay down, and drop it. You'll also love taking him for walks, as he leashes up nicely and walks very well without pulling.
Leo is a social butterfly! He comes from a home with other dogs and has a great track record with them. His playgroup notes show he's a friendly guy who greets and tolerates other dogs with ease. And when it comes to people, Leo is a true charmer. He's incredibly friendly, always greeting you with the best smile and a happy, fluffy tail wag.
Leo would make a fantastic houseguest and a wonderful addition to the right family. However, it's important to be aware of one of his quirks: he resource guards his food. Providing him with a crate where he can eat undisturbed is a great way to manage this behavior, giving him a safe space to relax and enjoy his meals without interruption. This practice is key to keeping everyone safe. Because of a past incident involving a small child, Leo requires a home with no small children.
If you're looking for a devoted, dog-friendly companion who loves to cuddle, don't miss the chance to meet Leo. We're sure you'll fall in love with your new best friend!
Available for adoption ONLY through PACC.

• DO NOT take food out of a dog's mouth using force. Teach Drop and Leave It behaviors.
• Give your new dog a safe space to eat; highly recommend kennel training for meals.
• Don’t ‘tease’ a dog with treat items or high-value food. [dangling food in front of their face, having them chase food in your hand, etc.
