More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 12, 2025 and am ready to go home today!

Bio: Carmine is a vivid red pigment used as a natural colorant in food, cosmetics and paints. Our Carmine is more of a lovely desert tan, but she does have a perfect pink piglet nose!! Here’s what one volunteer said about this lovely lady:
“First time meeting Carmine. She proactively sat without me even asking presumably in hopes of getting a treat (it worked!). Then I asked her for paw and she did it, so she got another treat! Take treats gently. She may not need as many treats as she got because she’s a little chunky monkey, but when she’s as smart and talented as she is, she deserves rewards. She’s such a cute bundle of exuberance and joy and it was a pleasure to walk her!”
There you have it- Carmine is not only as cute as a button, but also as sharp as whip! She’s been easygoing and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Carmine today!
