Bio: Mariposa is the Spanish word for butterfly, symbolizing transformation, change and hope. We’d love to introduce you to a stunning girl named Mariposa who sure is hopeful that her furever family is waiting in the wings to change her status from “single” to “taken for good”! One of her volunteer friends shared:
“Mariposa is a great walking companion! We had a nice walk around the lake and had an easy return. She did a perfect ‘sit’ in the kennel for her treat.”
Mariposa has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’s looking for a family who will give her a little time to decompress from the stress of living in the shelter. Just like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis, Mariposa will show her true, beautiful colors!
