Bio: New Mexico is known of the “Land of Enchantment”, and we have a pretty enchanting pup named after our neighboring state! This handsome blue boy is calm, easygoing, sweet, and pretty much perfect! Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:
“New Mexico was very friendly and easy to leash up in his kennel. He has a bouncy kennel mate who is a little bit rowdy and he’s very patient with him. In the play yard he did a lap or two to explore but immediately came back to me for pets and snuggles. He is very treat-motivated and at one point found my treat pouch and put his whole snoot into it looking for goodies. His tail never stopped wagging and he has a funny little snorting sound that he makes. He loved getting neck scratches and would lean this way or that so I could get just the right spot, grunting and groaning the whole time. Very nice and easygoing dog!”
New Mexico shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, tolerant and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Prepare to be enchanted- ask to meet New Mexico today!!
