More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jan 31, 2026 and am ready to go home today!

Bio: Carl is a handsome boy who was living on his own in a neighborhood before finally being brought to the shelter. While he was understandably overwhelmed when he first arrived at PACC, Carl has made major progress and his sweet personality is shining! Here’s what some of his volunteer friends have said:
“First time meeting Carl. He was quietly waiting in his kennel with his front paws on the door. He was easy to leash and once outside he posed for a couple pictures in the park like a true gentleman. He was leery of the grill but got a little closer (not too close!) with treats. Very cute pup!”
“I’ve walked Carl several times and he has come so far from the first day and when he was nervous and barky in his kennel. These days he is happily peeking out of his kennel hoping for the opportunity to go on a walk. He is eager to get out but a good walker overall. In the play yard he enjoys exploring but comes over for pets and even climbs in my lap. No sign of the shy boy he once was!”
Carl may need time to warm up to new people, but he’s an affectionate and loving boy once he feels safe! He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet Carl today!!
