Bio: Did you know that a group of hippos is called a bloat? Pretty rude!! Our Hippo certainly doesn’t think she deserves to be body shamed; she’s a lovely middle- aged gal who knows that it’s ok to be a little bit curvy! Here’s what one of her friends at the shelter said:
“Hippo was very easy to leash and walk. She takes treats gently and she walks with a loose leash. She is very friendly and was very interested in her sniffy walk, nose always to the ground. Hippo is a lovely lady!”
Hippo has shared her kennel politely and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. Ask to meet her today- and make sure to sign her petition against the fat shaming of hippopotamuses worldwide!
