Bio: Cassandra is an amazing little gal who wins the “MOST Improved!” award, as she has made a complete 180 in the time she’s been in the shelter! She was very fearful and scared of handling when she came into the shelter; compared to her behavior now, you wouldn't believe she was the same dog! It just goes to show what predictable routines and TLC can do for a dog! Volunteers and shelter staff rave about how affectionate and sweet she is, saying:
“Cassandra did very well on her walk around the lake. She really loved smelling around and looking at the ducks. She walked next to me most of the time. She did very well with handling and loved all the pets!”
“Cassandra, omg, omg, omg! She is a pint-sized pretty pretty princess, who is so darn affectionate and equally as cute! I spent time with her in a play yard today and she was content to sit by my side the entire time getting pets and snuggling! She was so sweet with her senior kennelmate and would nuzzle her and she shared space and attention so well! She is fantastic!”
Cassandra shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit.
If Cassandra has made this much progress in her short time in the shelter, we can’t wait to see how she wows a future family! We’re sure that her sweet and playful personality will shine even brighter once she finds her furever home! Please ask to meet Cassandra today!
