Bio: Sometimes you come across a dog with eyes so soulful they appear to have lived a hundred lifetimes and known as many joys and sorrows. Riley is a pup whose gaze reflects a dog who so eagerly wants to feel safe and be loved. We can’t wait for him to find a furever family who will show him true devotion! Here’s what some of Riley’s biggest fans have said:
“Riley was a bit shy so I tossed a couple of cookies on the ground before leashing him. Out in the park, he walked right next to me. He decided that he was too nervous to go super far in the park, so we turned around and found a bench to sit on. He just stood right to my legs, letting me pet him and taking treats ever so gently from my hand. This is one very sweet boy.”
“I adore Riley. He opens up more and more each time I spend time with him and is such a gentle and sweet boy. He loves gentle affection and soaks it up- I’m sure he’d thrive in a quiet home with someone to bond with. He seems to really crave connection and will be such a devoted companion to someone very lucky.”
Riley shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Riley is dreaming of a loving home with a family who will give him patience to decompress from shelter life so that he can feel safe. Come meet him today!
