Bio: Tobias is a handsome young boy with the softest fur and the most puppy dog eyes you’ve ever seen- just try to resist his charms!! He spent a short time in a foster home- here’s what his foster family said:
“Tobias is an absolutely wonderful dog. We fell in love with his great personality and want to help him find the perfect forever home! He is a fantastic pup who will make someone very happy. He is the ultimate Velcro dog- Tobias loves his humans. He wants to be right by your side and is incredibly affectionate. If you are looking for a loyal shadow, he is your guy! He is fully house trained; he had zero accidents in the house and completely understands outdoor bathroom etiquette. He absolutely loves toys but is surprisingly gentle with them-no shredding or destroying his plushies! He listens well, wants to please, and already has a great foundation of manners. Tobias is a high energy boy. He needs an active, energetic owner or family who can provide him with the daily exercise and mental stimulation he craves. Tobias is a great dog who just needs the right environment to thrive.”
Volunteers at the shelter love this boy too:
“Oh my goodness! Tobias is a big old handsome teddy bear of a dog! He is so freaking handsome and is a smushy love bug! When he first got to the yard he was a little bit anxious, but after going potty, he settled in next to me for pets! I was sitting on a bench and he even crawled under my legs to be in a prime snuggle position! He is so sweet and cuddly and just sat by my side getting snugs! He took treats pretty gently and shared space politely with his kennelmate. He’s a darling, squishy big baby!”
“Tobias has a very cute sad face and he convinced me to walk him. He was easy to leash and did a nice sit in his kennel before we left. Immediately on getting outside, he did his business. We went to a play yard; I sat in the chair in the yard and he pretty much just stayed by me wanting to be petted with occasional sniffing excursions. At one point, he sat on my feet, leaning into my legs for petting. He’s a really nice boy.”
Tobias shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been social and playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit and needs a home without cats. Tobias will make an incredible addition to a loving family; he’ll show you his very best cuddly moves and turn your frown upside down every day! Ask to meet him today!!
