Bio: Did you know that Aromachology is the scientific study of how odors influence behavior, emotions, and moods? This field of study analyzes the impact of scent on relaxation, stimulation and well being. We’re thrilled to introduce you to our very own Aromachologist- a handsome pup named Robbie! While he may not have any degree to prove it, our volunteers are pretty sure that he deserves this title! Here’s what one friend had to say:

“Robbie is a very good boy who is a scientist at heart! He loves sniffing every inch of the play yard, using his doggy deductive skills to figure out who was there before. Treats sure are the way to his heart. He can look a little stoic, but he is affectionate, sweet and gentle. I offered him some treats as he was exploring the play yard and apparently that was all it took to unlock BFF status! He then proceeded to crawl up onto my lap and we enjoyed some pets and treats together for a few minutes. He’s a lovely pup who may go unnoticed because he’s so laid-back, but he’s definitely worth meeting!”

When meeting other dogs in playgroup Robbie has been easygoing and independent. Robbie knows that one of the amazing things about the science of scents is that they directly stimulate emotion and memory, and that burying your nose in the fur of a good dog is sure to lift your spirits! Robbie would like to volunteer for this role- ask to meet him today!
