Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 3 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 27, 2026 and am ready to go home today!

Bio: In Greek mythology, Phaethon was the mortal son of Helios, the sun god. After boasting about his parentage, he begged his father to let him drive the blazing Chariot of the Sun across the sky for a single day. Unable to control the immortal horses, Phaethon flew too close to the Earth, scorching it and creating deserts. I guess we can thank the Greek Phaethon for our desert home; but you can thank your local pup Phaeton, for a lifetime worth of snuggles and love! Here’s what one volunteer friend said:
“I met complete sweetie pie Phaeton today! He came into the play yard and immediately went potty, then explored the yard for a little bit. After getting his daily sniffs in, he came right over for snuggles! He climbed up onto the bench next to me, moved in close and enjoyed pets and cuddles. He is a super sweet boy! He would intermittently get off of the bench to putter around the yard, always coming back to me for pets and love. He’s a completely lovable, amazing, perfect boy!”
Phaeton shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup, keeping to himself. This very good boy is dreaming of a family who will spend lots of time with him, welcoming him inside as a true member of the family and including him in all their adventures! If you’re looking for an affectionate adventure buddy, come on down and meet Phaeton!
