Bio: Many common flowers hold deep symbolism for different cultures, and daisies are one such flower. Because the daisy reopens every morning, it symbolizes hope, a fresh start, and the optimism of a new day. With their bright, sunny yellow centers, they are widely viewed as symbols of joy and happiness. Knowing this, we think our spunky pup Daisey fits her name perfectly! Here’s what one volunteer friend had to say about her:

“Daisey is a perky-eared little princess! She's an independent lady who enjoys exploring and checking in for pets and playing with her kennelmate. After settling into the play yard today, she came over and scooted her butt up to me so that I could scratch her rump while she watched the comings and goings around the yard. She enjoyed some good full body scratches. I watched her tail zoom up to warp speed as I told her what a good girl she is! She will match your energy and if you get excited, so does she! She’s a very good girl!”

Daisey is awaiting surgery for a condition called cherry eye and would love to get into a home so that she can have a restful place to heal. Her surgery and related medical needs and supplies will all be covered by PACC!

Daisey shares her kennel with another PACC pup and has been easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you’re looking to add a joyful pup to your family, ask to meet Daisey today!!
