Bio: In J. R. R. Tolkien's novel, The Lord of the Rings, Fangorn is an ancient shepherd of the forest and is said by Gandalfto be "the oldest living thing that still walks beneath the sun.” He lives in the ancient Forest of Fangorn and is known to be deeply wise and caring. Our pup Fangorn is hoping to fill the role of loving caretaker of an equally loving family, providing all of the kisses and affection a family could need! Here’s what some of his friends at the shelter have said:

“Fangorn is a friendly, silly boy who loves affection and will lean into you for all the scritches he can get! I took him and his kennelmate to a play yard where he enjoyed sniffing around, but mostly enjoyed interacting with me and getting pets. He hasn't quite mastered his sit, but he's highly treat motivated and eager to please, so can surely learn some new tricks with his future family. Fangorn never stops smiling and his tail never stops wagging- a super nice and very handsome pup who gives great smooches!”

“I walked Fangorn for the first time tonight. In kennel, he was calm and well behaved. He was easy to leash and exit the kennel. In the park, he walked very well on leash with no pulling, and his tail wagged the entire time. He is friendly and affectionate.”

Fangorn shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. If you are looking to add a friendly, smart and sweet pup to your family, Fangorn is your boy!
