Bio: The alder tree symbolizes resilience, thriving in adverse conditions and enduring physical trials. That’s pretty fitting for a pup named Alder who has been resilient in the stressful conditions of an overcrowded shelter! This boy’s happy nature continues to shine as he waits to find his forever home! Here’s what some of his friends at the shelter have said:
“I adore Alder and find him to be a friendly and happy boy. He is easy to leash (maybe just a bit bouncy in kennel) and we usually head to a play yard where he likes to explore and get pets. Yesterday one of the yards was a lake due to the rain and Alder had a great time zooming through the water playing with his kennel mate. Alder has met several new volunteers, men and women, and has done well. He’s a great dog!”
“Alder is allowed me to leash him easily and is very treat-motivated. Once outside, he walked fine. He was such a good boy. Alder enjoyed getting pets and exploring the yard. I surprised him with doggie ice-cream, which he loved!”
Alder shares his kennel with another PACC pup and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to ensure a good fit. No kiddos please!! Ask to meet Alder today!
